Well hello, My Friends! Happy Hump Day!!!

I’ll dive right in — Let’s talk refrigerators…. Often when designing a kitchen space, you have to negotiate with appliances— first, you need the right function for what type of cooking you will be doing, you need to start thinking through the aesthetics part, tying the appliances back into the rest of your design. (Also,… word is stainless steel appliances are on their way out!) But there are increasingly more and more alternatives, which obviously has designers like me excited! Check out what Samsung is coming out with below.

The appliance is bea-u-ti-ful! Now instead of having a hunk of stainless steel standing out in your kitchen, you can actually start playing with color blocking, to be the “pop” in your kitchen. The unit also has “bite-sized” ice cubes as an option! You can also swap temperature modes for each one of the compartments. Basically, it’s the coolest refrigerator I’ve ever seen….

It comes in (8) different metal and glass finishes, which is just enough for you to have some fun with. And the added bonus of having 4 doors and compartments allows you the flexibility and movement to adjust how you use your fridge, even once it’s in your home.
