Minimal or Maximum?

Hello Hello!!!!!

I hope you all are well! Spring has sprung, and I have not written a blog in far too long!!! What can I say, life has been busy!

Since the pandemic began, I have read article after article about how Scandinavian minimalism will increase even more than it has been, the theme of “cozy” is still running high, and that everyone wants to feel calm and soothed. But…. what if the opposite started to come out of being locked at home for over a year? What if life repeats itself much like the last flu pandemic, and we had an era of something similar to the “Roaring 20’s”?

My mom (who sends me at least 4 emails a day) forwarded over this really interesting article from Conde Nast Traveler just about this very topic. (Also please note, I am a HUGE fan of Conde Nast anything—- I have been to several of their events, and the best that I had been to was Wired25, and they really outdid themselves bringing all the big names— Anna Wintour, Jeff Bezos, Jack Dorsey, the list goes on. And, I was front row right in front of the speaker chairs!) Anyways, even Ian Schrager is on board with this concept and thinks people will be ready to let loose!

Take a peak at some photos of some crazy themed hospitality projects to give you a sense of some of the potential we are in store for. Honestly, I hope this sparks big ideas—- it’s time for a shake up, and to really be immersed into an experience when you leave your home! Otherwise I guess you can use your VR headset to escape? But, that can’t be as fun!……
