Hey friends! I hope you are having a relaxing weekend! I spent my Saturday hanging a Capiz Chandelier, and my shoulders are so sore from holding it above my head for what felt like 8 hours!

I am a huge fan of Yellow Trace, and look forward to opening their emails each week for new sources of innovative, and never been done before ideas. I can honestly say one of the most inspiring projects I saw in 2020 was this living space by Lorna de Santos. I loved it so much that I actually made it my Zoom background for several months, just to pretend it was my home!

What is so great about this project is the design approach that evokes a sensation of quiet and calm from the outside world. Soft curves, warm whites, and natural live edge wood help to bring that experience to life. And let’s talk about that fireplace!!!!! Who has ever seen a fireplace like this??? The thinking here is VERY out of the box. Take a look at the project and let me know what you think!!!
